The Atlantic Monthly, National Geographic, The Wall Street Journal, and many other prestigious publications (though he hardly likes to brag). He blogs daily over at Shanghai Scrap, where -- much to my delight --

Great interview! What is the library system like in China?
How do you compare the personality of for example your home turf in the American Midwest to Beijing or Shanghai.
Just wanted to say thank you for posting this link. As an East Asian Studies major who is focusing on Chinese history and philosophy, Adam Minter's blog offers a lot of satisfying insight and prespective on numerous topics. I definitely see it as a means of preparation for that day when I finally make my first trip to China.
Also, just wondering, do you plan on coming to the New York Comic-Con this year? Definitely would like to meet you in person and perhaps practice some Chinese. Than again, Feburary in NYC is usually blizzard season, so I can understand any hesistance in coming. Anyway, I wish you continued success in your literary endeavors. 再見!
