I finally have some pictures from the Romantic TImes Conference in St. Louis.

This is a thin slice of the ballroom where the book signing event took place. Crazy, wild - attendees had to wait an hour just to reach the cash registers.

Me at my post. I think this picture was taken towards the end of the event.

cute pictures! Is it bad that I noticed the logo on the shirt behind you in the second picture before anything else?

No, because that's what I noticed first, too! Hahaha...

Yeah, but the guy it's on is not particularly... attractive. Not to me, at least. He needs lots of hot oil treatments for his hair.

Didn't even notice the faux Fabio before you mentioned him. My eye just zoomed in on the logo. Yes, he does need hot oil, and probably a trim to get out any dead ends too.

Oh my goodness, I need sunglasses. I've never seen such a...yellow... blazer before. It's... very yellow.

It is, indeed, very yellow. The longer you look at it, however, the more it grows on you. :-)

Oh, I think it's insanely cute! He'd blend into the walls in my great room really well (except for the black stripes - they'd give him away). And it's just a fun outfit!

I *know* people who'd willing wear that for a night out on the town. Every night. That must say something about my friends :)

Hide The Women and Children! Shutter the Windows! Run!
Thank God they either don't make such a blazer-n-tie in my size (or else I simply am too dull to know where) or I could start fires with that thing. Melt walls. Become some sort of a superhero (Sunblazer... grin). Yikes.

The weird thing is, I bet in the 1920s you could find someone in something akin to that -- maybe not exactly. Or worse, as I was in high school and early college and the fashionistas were all at the Disco... while I stayed at home alone and read more Frank Herbert, Robert Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke...

And there you are, so very gray and tailored next to Chris. Very cute, Ms. Webpetals.
